Hi Everyone!
So, I'm a little late on the JUNE newsletter, ok, really late!...I have taken time for more play than work this month. From gardening, to boogie-boarding with my surfing husband, to playing with our dog, I have been enjoying the lazy days of summer! Have you?
It's actually been wonderful to relax and allow my career to flow, without me forcing it in a particular direction. And with all my focus on what I love to do OUTSIDE of my career, I've been getting great audition opportunities, and just this week, I booked a job I didn't even audition for! They saw my reel and hired me directly!!!
So, why don't you try it?
How about finding more time this week to
REST and RELAX!!!!!!!!!!
HOW?
Go see a movie in the afternoon. Go to a farmer's market. Ponder the wonders of nature at a botanical garden. Go for a bike ride on the beach. Or just take a nap.
Here's to relaxing and allowing your career to flow!

The Focus of JUNE is...
I REST & RELAX!!
Dogs never feel guilty for resting! This is my pit-bull corgi, Jack, taking a nap. I learn a lot from him!

As you give yourself permission to rest, you silently send a message to the Universe that all is well in your world, that you know good things are on their way and you can relax in the meantime. It is a great way to calm your mind from always figuring out what your next action should be. (I'm guilty of this a lot!!!) Sometimes doing nothing IS the best action.
If you feel too guilty taking a little time off, try looking at it like this... the experiences and observations you make while resting and relaxing can only add to your work as an actor....and looking and feeling well-rested just might help you book the next job!

REST & RELAX!
As I take time to rest, I allow my body and mind to recharge, refuel, and renew its energy.
I rest, knowing that I have done enough, that the foundation has been laid and it is time to take a step back and relax and allow the next unfolding of my journey. As I rest, I tell the Universe that I am ready for more, and enjoying the meantime. I relax and rest, sending a message of trust and faith in my career, knowing that right now I don't have to make anything happen, but allow myself to receive.
