Our level of self-acceptance dictates our level of happiness.
At the core of who we are, is the human need for acceptance.
Yet, from a young age, we are conditioned to look outside ourselves for acceptance we crave, whether it be through gaining acceptance from our parents, our school, or our community. Then we go off into the world, and often try to gain acceptance through attaining a certain career status, or making a certain amount of money, or finding the perfect person to love us.
Ultimately, we are setting ourselves up for a life that focuses mainly on the exterior approval of others and our need to achieve the next goal, the next prize, the next destination to find happiness and acceptance.
We have it backwards.
This guided meditation + visualization will guide you through a morning practice of radical self-acceptance, right now, about where you are and who you are, (no matter what you have or don’t have).
It’s ultimately the thoughts we have about ourselves that determine our level of happiness, fulfillment and joy in life.
As Louise Hay affirms “Each of my thoughts is like a raindrop. When I think the same thought over and over, it’s as if I’m creating this incredible body of water. If my thoughts are negative, I can drown in a sea of my own negativity. If my thoughts are positive, I can float on the ocean of Life.”
This guided meditation will assist you in filling your body, mind and soul with radical self-acceptance, compassion and love, so you can float on the ocean of Life.
After all, this is why we are here and it’s a gift we can give to ourselves right now, knowing the other “stuff” will come,
And when it does, you most likely will look back and say, “I’m so glad I didn’t waste my life’s journey waiting for that thing, that person or that experience for me to be happy. I’m so glad I chose it right now and made a daily practice of radical self-acceptance.”
Choose the most loving thought.
Here’s what people are saying:
I feel refreshed, encouraged and much more positive after I listen to it…
This audio makes me feel comforted and less stressed. I feel refreshed, encouraged and much more positive after I listen to it each time. I recently had an audition where for the first time in awhile I felt creative and expressive – I had fun! I was “willing to be seen” as one of the monthly mantras states. I also caught myself saying the other day “I am awesome” after someone thanked me for doing a favor for them. They loved that I replied to them this way and I definitely think I spoke about myself positively as a direct result of listening to this audio.

Listening to you Wendy is like an injection of love.
The audio is a beautiful reminder that I am whole and complete, something that I have learned in my therapy sessions but always forget. Listening to you Wendy is like an injection of love. It’s like an injection of goodness. When I am feeling really down or shaken, all I need to do is reach for the audio and I know that once I press play I am reminded of the beautiful spirit that I am. I had a shaky weekend being myself around my new in-laws. It was really tough as I felt they didn’t understand what I do and why I am a woman perusing a career as an actor and my mission to go out and inspire the world. I was questioned and tested. It felt like a blast from the past when I was younger, needing the approval of my parents. Aside from being a courageous Lion and standing my ground to be authentically who I am with them which I am proud of, I flew back home feeling really depleted and sad. I didn’t know what to do, so I grabbed my phone and just listened to Radical self Acceptance. It felt like coming home to an old best friend. It’s been two days since the weekend, and I feel the audio is lifting and building me back up. I was reminded of the truth that I am whole and complete. I realize now that I relied on their approval to feel whole and complete, and knowing that has made me reclaim my power. I also realize that being self loving means having healthy boundaries. I know not to get angry at myself but to just accept that this is what is happening now and to be okay with sitting with how I am feeling and the situation until it shifts, changes and heals which I trust will.
