When it feels like things are falling apart… ✨
You’re not where you want to be yet.
You feel frustrated with what “isn’t working.”
You wonder how long you can keep putting in so much effort.
You wish your results would change so you can finally feel better.
And you sometimes wonder if you’re even on the right path.
I see you. I feel you. I’ve been there.
And every time I feel this way, here’s what I do.
3 Steps To Take When It Feels Like Things Are Falling Apart:
STEP 1. Allow yourself the space to really feel it.
Yes, you must face it and feel it to heal it. You must go there – to the darkest parts of your mind that wants to criticize, condemn and contemplate all the ways you tell yourself you’re not measuring up.
And as uncomfortable as this all may be,
instead of pushing thoughts and feelings away,
remind yourself….
”When I acknowledge and accept, I can transform.”
You can even write your thoughts down in a journal just to get them out on paper – and this will actually help release the power they hold over you.
It’s helpful to write it out and “see it.”
STEP 2. See each thought as a dark cloud.
So instead of pushing the thoughts away, think of holding them as little clouds in the palm of your hands and with each thought say…
I see you.
I acknowledge you.
I know you want to just keep me safe.
I send you love.
When you recognize that all of the crappy stuff you tell yourself, is just your ego trying to keep you safe (especially when you’re wanting to expand), you can approach your thoughts with compassion and send the fearful thoughts love.
STEP 3. Declare to yourself “Anything that feels like it’s falling apart or is delayed is actually making space for something more wonderful to come together. “
“Anything that feels like it’s falling apart
or is delayed is actually making space
for something more wonderful to come together. “– Wendy Braun
So live in that space today.
That anything that feels like it’s not happening quite yet – even if it all feels like a mess – is making space for something more wonderful to emerge.
Live in that space – consciously and intentionally, and watch what unfolds.
I shared this video recently on Instagram (follow me here), and it resonated so much with creatives…that I wanted to make sure you saw this too.
I hope this helps you to trust in the future you cannot yet see.
And that it helps you to know you are enough, no matter what is going on in your career right now.
Know this. Own it. Trust it + watch what happens next!
Then declare in the comments: “I let go + invite in something even better.”

P.S. I love sharing posts like this, because I walk my talk. I felt this way just last month, and it’s these 3 steps above that helped me to realign my mind. What happened next? I went back to my own tools, and booked an amazing job that I’m working on right now through November.
Then, I put all my booking secrets in this free on-demand training to help you stand out in every audition, book more jobs + elevate your career (without letting nerves, negative noise and nagging self-doubt sabotage your success).
