Seems as if we are all looking for the answers, the secret, the perfect advice or words or person or agent that will unlock doors + opportunities for us to bring our dreams to life.

After spending years searching in books, acting classes, with coaches, in workshops + seminars…..I’ve discovered the real secret to getting what you want in your acting career +  your life.

In fact, when I look back on my own acting career + my life in general, it was when I was unconsciously doing exactly what I’m about to tell you – that things aligned.

Things just seemed to flow into my experience easily.  Things like acting jobs, getting offers, auditions, agents contacting me, relationships, connecting with my soul mate, marrying my soul mate, getting pregnant, getting back in shape after having children, having a family + balancing a career, all of it…..

And when things weren’t happening in my career or life, I was definitely NOT doing this big “secret” action.  I was worrying + doubting.

I’m not here to prove to you that this is the “right ” way of doing things, but I will tell you that, it’s the most fun way!  It’s the way you can align the fastest with what you want.

In fact, I have a feeling you want the acting career you want probably for many reasons, but mostly because you think it would be fun.

• It would be fun to book the job..
• It would be fun to be on the set, or backstage or on location.
• It would be fun to work with other amazing artists + creative people.
• It would be fun to go to the table read or have a parking spot on the lot.
• It would be fun to walk the red carpet.
• It would be fun to receive a standing ovation.
• It would be fun to have people compliment you on your work.
• It would be fun to make a great living doing what you love to do.
• It would be fun to discover your unlimited potential….it would be fun right?

I’m here to tell you that the more you can align with that feeling of fun NOW, before all the “stuff” gets here….2 things will happen…

1. You will start having way more fun.
2. What you want will show up even faster.

So, today’s mantra…(maybe even this year’s biggest, most important mantra as you take the baby steps needed to obtain your career + life goals) is…

I am having fun along the way to _________________(insert your goal here)

Here’s to having more fun along the way to wherever it is you are headed + enjoying the entire ride.

I am having fun along the way to recurring on a tv show I love.

I am having fun along the way to becoming a series regular.

I am having fun along the way to watching my career expand in wonderful ways.

I am having fun along the way to getting cast in my next play.

I am having fun along the way to singing, dancing and acting in a musical.

I am having fun along the way to getting cast in a big budget movie

I am having fun along the way to landing a role in an indie film that goes to Sundance.

I am having fun along the way to writing my own film, play, show, webseries.

I am having fun along the way performing in my improv troupe.

I am having fun along the way running lines with my scene partner.

I am having fun along the way in my acting class.

I am having fun along the way training + adding skills to my resume.

I am having fun along the way learning how to market myself.

I am having fun along the way taking risks that scare me.

I am having fun along the way to my ideal body weight.

I am having fun along the way while dating + discovering what I want + don’t want.

I am having fun along the way to meeting my soul mate.

I am having fun along the way to marrying my soul mate.

I am having fun along the way to having children.

I am having fun along the way while watching my kids grow.

I am having fun along the way to making _______amount of money doing what I love. 

I am having fun along the way on every job I do, no matter how large or small my role may be.

I am having fun along the way on every audition, whether I book the job or not.

I am having fun along the way on this amazing roller coaster ride I have chosen.

I am having fun along the way to winning an Oscar, an Emmy, a Tony or all three!

I am having fun along the way as I discover just how much fun I can have.

I am having fun along the way knowing it is my choice to make it all fun.
