What’s the strongest factor that determines your success?
You might think it’s your talent, your representation or your connections.
Those things may help open doors for you, but what will ultimately lead to lasting success is…
your self-esteem.
What you believe to be true about yourself not only fuels what you do, but how you do it and your expectations you have about the outcome.
Such a great reminder from John Assaraf:
“The strongest factor for success is self-esteem.
Believing you can do it.
Believing you deserve it.
Believing you will get it. “
Notice how believing you deserve it comes before believing you will get it.
The current reality you are living right now is a direct match to your belief system, and ultimately what you think you deserve.
So, if you’re wanting to get to the next level in your career (or your life) ask yourself, at the core of your being, do you think you deserve to be there?
Well, what you think you deserve, you get.
So, in order to raise your success ceiling (and deservability), you gotta raise your self-worth.
Here are 7 ways to raise your self-worth:
- Love yourself so well that you are willing to allow your light to be seen.
- Love yourself so well that you make radical self-care a priority.
- Love yourself so well that you don’t allow rejection to define you.
- Love yourself so well that you live with intention rather than only reaction.
- Love yourself so well that you find ways to feel good every single day.
- Love yourself so well that you make self-acceptance + loving thoughts a daily practice.
- Love yourself so well that you move beyond fear + take bold actions.
Soon, you’ll come to realize that you can’t get small enough to make someone else feel bigger, that rejection only strengthens your purpose, and that when you get outside your comfort zone you’ll expand into who you were truly meant to become.
It is all an inside job.
Eventually, you’ll have a much more positive view of yourself and what you are capable of doing.
As your commitment and courage expand, so will your confidence, deservability + self worth.
It really is all connected.
Begin this day, this week, this month knowing that whatever your dreams are…
You can do it.
You deserve it
You will get it.

I just found this emailed to me from last month, sitting as “unread in my Acting folder in my inbox ????
Yesterday I was thinking why I get so frustrated with goals and realized because I do have a deep fear – unrecognized before yesterday – that some of my goals won’t come to fruition. And I think that’s because I don’t actually feel deserving of some of them!
This is a new thing for me. I KNOW that I deserve them ???? So it’s time to recognize when that negative voice chimes in that likes to tell so many lies….
