One of my favorite quotes that inspires me to continue to create is this…
“Don’t die with your music still in you. Listen to your intuitive inner voice + find what passion stirs your soul.”
Carl Jung believed that intuition was one of the most important abilities that humans have.
As actors, tapping into our intuitive inner voice can be vital to our success, happiness + well-being.
In fact, there is a part of you that knows exactly how to do the audition sides, give the performance, make career decisions + major life decisions.
The power is already within you.
Yet, often we either keep ourselves too busy with action to stop + listen to the intuitive inner guidance within or we search relentlessly outside ourselves for the answers, the approval, or the nod that we should go this way or do it that way.
Since your intuition is always there, always guiding you, it is time to get quiet enough to listen to it, especially when the daily grind of life + everyday tasks can overwhelm you or pull your focus away from what is truly important.
Ask yourself these 2 questions:
Have you let life lead you away from your true passion?
Have you let fear keep you from shining your light brightly?
You have unique gifts to share with the world, but you must tap into the power of your own intuition to discover + nurture them.
My intuitive inner voice is what led me to create ActorInspiration + every guided meditation I write. Sure, fears come up. but when I face them head on, they soften. Knowing that my “music” is changing other people’s lives for the better is a passion that stirs my soul – whether it’s writing a new blog post or creating a new audio, all of it is guided by intuition.
My favorite feedback is when actors say “That is exactly what I needed to hear today,” or “This audio came at the perfect time.” This evidence confirms the power of intuition + how it will always lead me to create something that will sing to others as well.
If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or don’t know what to do next, just remember that you can see more clearly in a pond of water that is still, then one that is turbulent. You must first quiet the mind + then the answers will appear in the stillness.
“We always get warnings from our heart and our intuition when they appear, but we are often too busy to notice.” – From Arriana Huffington’s new book, Thrive.
Here’s to a month of following the wise words of Steve Jobs…“Have the courage to follow your heart + intuition….Everything else is secondary.”

Dear Wendy,
I was also very inspired by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer. His words and philosophies touched my heart and life. I also posted this on my Facebook page last week. May he be at peace.
I saw one of his many talks on PBS too! This excerpt always stayed with me…
“It’s all about having an inner picture of abundance, thinking in unlimited ways, being open to the guidance that intention provides when you’re in a state of rapport with it — then being in a state of ecstatic gratitude and awe for how this whole thing works. Every time I see a coin on the street, I stop, pick it up, put it into my pocket, and say out loud, “Thank you, God, for this symbol of abundance that keeps flowing into my life”. 🙂
